Petco is the second largest pet chain store in the United States. Currently, it has 1,500 stores 🏪, mainly distributed in the United States and Mexico, with a relatively high market share. There are quite a few Petco stores in the not very large Washington, D.C.

Unleashed by Petco is actually the urban store model of Petco. Since most of Petco's other stores are thousands of square feet, it is difficult to achieve this in big cities considering the high rent pressure. Therefore, Petco has developed this urban store model.

Although it is an urban store model, it is actually not small, with an area of several hundred square feet. The distinctive features are as follows:

▪️ The store has a complete range of products, and there are many choices for each category.

▪️ The weighing area clearly marks the body size and weight standards (Figures 2 and 3).





▪️ The store has a self-service washing and grooming area (Figure 4).

▪️ The proportion of fresh food is relatively large, and several major brands are available (Figures 5 and 6).





▪️ The range of cold-chain products is relatively complete, such as pet yogurt (Figures 7 and 8).





▪️ The store is clearly classified. For example, there is a special area for joint products (Figure 9).



▪️ There are also vivid display pictures to explain pet beds (Figure 10).



Of course, aside from the complete range of products, what customers appreciate more is the satisfactory service and the professionalism of the store staff. It is a store that is well worth paying attention to.
